Pricing Structure

How does Agent Status pricing work?

2. One-Off Checks: $0.03 per check, bulk discounts available.

Free tier includes?

1 agent, 6-hour interval, 3 regions, 7-day retention, email alerts.

Can I mix tiers?

Yes. Each agent has its own tier. Production: Pro ($50), Staging: Free ($0), Sales: Standard ($20) = $70/mo total.

Subscription Management

Upgrade/downgrade?

Dashboard → Billing → Select agent → New tier. Upgrades prorated, downgrades apply next period.

Exceed limits?

Enforced at config time — you'll see an upgrade prompt.

Pause billing?

Pause agent to stop checks (subscription continues). Delete agent to stop billing.

Cancel?

Dashboard → Billing → Cancel. Monitoring stops at period end. History retained 30 days.

Payment

  • Methods: Visa, Mastercard, Amex via Stripe
  • Billing cycle: Monthly, on subscription anniversary
  • Annual billing: Not currently available
  • Invoices: Dashboard → Billing → Invoices (PDF)
  • Refunds: Full within 7 days, prorated credit after

One-Off Checks

  • Single validation runs for CI/CD, spot checks
  • $0.03 per check (per node, per prompt set)
  • Add funds: Dashboard → Billing → Check Balance ($10-$100)
  • Credits never expire
  • Works alongside subscriptions

Volume discounts, custom retention, SLA guarantees, dedicated support, SSO. Contact sales@carmel.so.

Startup discount?

Available for early-stage startups, open source, and educational use.

Tax

Stripe handles tax calculation based on billing address. Tax-exempt status available with documentation.
