Step-by-Step
1. Go to Agent Settings
Open your agent → Settings or Edit
2. Alert Settings
Alert Email: oncall@yourcompany.com
Alert on DOWN: ✅
Alert on DEGRADED: ⬜ (optional)
Alert on Recovery: ✅
3. Save
Click Save Changes. Alerts are now active.
Alert Types

Email Format
Subject: 🔴 [Agent Status] Agent DOWN: Production ChatBot
Includes: status, previous status, timestamp, summary (reachability, latency, regions), and dashboard link.
Multiple Recipients
- Use a distribution list
- Use PagerDuty/Opsgenie email integration
- Set up webhook for fan-out
Testing Alerts
Troubleshooting
- Not receiving? Check spam, verify email, ensure "Alert on DOWN" is checked
- Too many alerts? Disable DEGRADED alerts, increase check frequency
